Paul's career began in Quantity Surveying — housebuilding, commercial construction, infrastructure and rail. Real, hands-on exposure to how projects actually get delivered, which is exactly what helps us spot qualifying work that other advisers can miss, because we've stood on site ourselves.
From there, into accounting and finance, then senior finance and board-level leadership — the financial discipline behind every claim we build, from day one rather than bolted on afterwards.
Then specialist R&D tax consultancy, ultimately as Managing Director of an established R&D tax business, where he helped deliver substantial growth in turnover, client numbers and recurring relationships across a wide range of industries.
